Children and Youth
Hopewell offers many opportunities for fellowship and learning for our youth.
The youth at Hopewell meet every week during the school year on Wednesday nights after our 6:00 Family Night supper. During the summer we meet on the first and third Sundays after worship for our HPK — Hopewell Presbyterian Kids — that includes a light lunch, study, Youth Choir practice and games.
The youth have many special events such as lock ins, ski trips, trips to minor league baseball games, and camping trips – just to name a few! The Church also helps pay for our youth going to Camp Pee Dee in the summer.
VBS is usually the second week in July (the dates for 2008 are July 6-9) and is always a lot of fun and a time for learning. Don Sanders and his family will be with us again this year.
Our youth are involved in worship through the Youth Choir, taking part in special services, and many other activities.
