Let’s Go To The River!

This weekend will be “River Weekend” at Hopewell as the youth camp out at Lynche’s River County Park on Friday night July 30 and the congregation has a time of fellowship at Lynche’s River County Park on Saturday July 31!

The youth will meet at the Church at 6:00 Friday night and then we’ll go to the park for a night of hot dogs, s’mores, “splash pad”, “river fun” and spending the night in cabins.

The congregation will be at shelter #3 on Saturday from 11-3. We’ll have a covered-dish lunch and great fellowship!

Join us this Sunday — August 1 — as we Worship — Fellowship — and Learn together.

The Fellowship begins at 9:30 with our Assembly and Coffee Fellowship.

The Learning begins at 10:00 with Sunday School for all ages.

Our Worship service begins at 11:00 and will feature special music from our choir and Bill’s sermon, which will be based on Hosea 11:1-11 and entitled “Choices”.

The fellowship begins at 9:30 with our Coffee and Fellowship Time. The learning begins at 9:45 with Sunday School for all ages. Our 11:00 worship will be a celebration of what all the women of Hopewell do for us with special music from the Praise Choir and Bill’s sermon — from 2 Timothy 1:1-7 — will be entitled “Where Would We Be Without Godly Women?”.

Good News Clubs Meeting — Monday April 26 at 6:00

Hopewell is hosting a meeting of local churches interested in starting a Good News Club in an elementary school in our area. The meeting will be at 6:00 on Monday, April 26.

Good News Clubs is a wonderful after school program that allows us to share the Gospel and Christian principles with school age children.

John Collins, coordinator for Good News Clubs in Florence county, will be on hand at the meeting to share information and answer questions.
